8-Week Explosive Jump and Agility Training for Athletes 

Starting Monday October 14 at 6:45pm

Overview:

The purpose of this program is to help volleyball and basketball players, and other athletes (age 12-17) hoping to improve jumping ability and increase their vertical jump, explosiveness, and overall power on the court or other field of play. To achieve this, we’ll focus on plyometrics, strength training, mobility, and recovery over an 8-week explosive jump training program. Each week will include one 50-minute in-gym session and a dedicated take-home workout that should be completed three times throughout the week to supplement the work done in the gym.

 Goals:
  • Increase vertical jump height

  • Improve reactive strength and power

  • Enhance overall athleticism for performance on the court

  • Educate athletes so they can continue to develop on their own if they choose

What's Included?

In addition to dedicated in-gym training sessions, a full program plan with every workout will be shared with all participants. This will include details on the class plans, but also the At-Home Workouts that are designed to support athlete development. 

​ In-Gym Training and Coaching:

  • Warm-Up: 10 minutes (mobility, activation drills)

  • Explosive Training: 20 minutes (plyometrics, jump technique, speed and agility training)

  • Strength and Power Development: 15 minutes (lower body power, upper body strength)

  • Cool Down & Stretch: 5 minutes (mobility, recovery work)

 

At-Home Workouts:

  • Dedicated on supporting and building on in-gym program

  • Required for ideal outcomes

  • Quick and Simple
